After settling Noah with my brother, and went off to explore the sale area.
Loads of quilting cottons on sale.
This Joel Dewberry fabric from the Heirloom collection is currently going for £6.25/metre. I snagged 2 metres.
For those with nimble fingers, they also have yarn on sale.
Can you tell I was happy to be in John Lewis?
I came back and found this....in the middle of the knitting section.
OMG!!! What a cute pic!!!! You were the one doing the shopping and they are the pooped ones???
ReplyDeletetell me about it. a bunch of weaklings. lol
DeleteAnd a good time was had by all! You wore those guys out.
ReplyDeleteI know. Men really do hate shopping
DeleteUsually don't comment , but wanted to say beautiful family and such a sweet photo of baby and uncle. Also, it's great to get a quick break for fabric shopping!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting Arellis, and thanks for the compliment. I'm always happy when someone says something back to me.
DeleteThat's like the classic Arena poster of man and baby! Your brother is extremely handsome and you have reminded Meir the wool sale at John Lews. Double score!
ReplyDeletehihiihihihi. I showed him your comment, and he was well pleased with himself.
DeleteHow cute are those two?! Noah obviously loves his Uncle to sleep like that.
ReplyDeleteTrue dat. Though I suspect he passed because of over feeding. The child can eat.
DeleteWhat a nice brother to mind your baby, and the last photograph is beautiful.
ReplyDeletethank you kbenco.
DeleteLook at those two! How sweet! Sheesh, you're surrounded by total hunks all the time! So many gorgeous men in your life! :)
ReplyDeletehahahahahha.
DeleteThat photo of your brother and your son is absolutely precious. What a great memory to capture. You are a lucky woman.
ReplyDeletePS-I love your hair these days.
Thanks Elle. It is so easy on me these days, no long hours with styling equipment. lol
DeleteHa ha aaah! Precious photo! Marvelling at your restraint again, but looks like a good purchase
ReplyDeleteI am growing up. lol. These days I actually plan projects. who would have thought it?
DeleteWhat sweet pictures of your brother with Noah! That sale looks great, I went to our John Lewis sale but thankfully it wasn't as big as that one and I only bought a metre of fabric :)
ReplyDeleteI never buy fabric from John lewis, unless its a designer one and it is on sale. Some of what they sell I always see elsewhere for a lot less.
DeleteSuch a cute photo of your brother and Noah!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery jealous of your shopping trip to John Lewis, and the gorgeous fabric you scored. Oh, if only there was a JL in Belfast!
Thanks Suzie. I should have your parcel in the post on monday. I hope you will like it.
DeleteCute, cute pic i wonder who dropped off the sleep first!
ReplyDeletehahahahhaha. I suspect it was Noah. He had just eaten, and was stuffed.
DeleteThat is so cute! I can't believe how big Noah looks already! I must get myself to JL as well, I have vouchers to spend, although they are wedding vouchers and I'm not sure how happy the hubby will be if I spend them all on fabric! x
ReplyDeleteI know. They grow up so fast don't they? I actually used a voucher meant for Noah. lol. Evil mummy.
DeleteLovely picture of your brother and Noah! Congrats on your restrained shopping, although JL is usually expensive for fabric and I can normally be restrained in there!
ReplyDeleteYeah I normally don't buy fabric there. It really is expensive.
Deletethat is a fab photo of your brother and Noah! too cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm so hot-footing it down to John Lewis this weekend - that fabric you chose is gorgeous!
There was not much left of the one I bought. Hopefully there will be some left when you get there.
DeleteThat last photo is priceless!! :) I'm very jealous of your bargain, and also that you have a John Lewis. I agree with Suzie, I wish we had one in Belfast. Curses to the planning laws!!!
ReplyDeleteDibs, that last photo makes my heart melt...how cute!!!
ReplyDeleteOkra: I either fry or boil mine. Dried prawns, mmmmm sounds like something I'd like.
ReplyDeleteOh my - Noah is just so completely gorgeous. And how lucky you are to have a baby-friendly brother!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I wonder which of them fell asleep first...
ReplyDeleteLast photo = precious!
ReplyDeleteNoah looks sooo big, can't be time goes so fast!
