Thank God for John Lewis

Thursday, July 5

Today, my junior brother and I went into John Lewis on Oxford Street, because I wanted to check out what they had. Thank God I did. They are currently having sales on some of their fabric.

After settling Noah with my brother, and went off to explore the sale area.

Loads of quilting cottons on sale.

This Joel Dewberry fabric from the Heirloom collection is currently going for £6.25/metre. I snagged 2 metres.

For those with nimble fingers, they also have yarn on sale.

Can you tell I was happy to be in John Lewis?

I came back and found this....in the middle of the knitting section.

    1. I never buy fabric from John lewis, unless its a designer one and it is on sale. Some of what they sell I always see elsewhere for a lot less.

  13. That is so cute! I can't believe how big Noah looks already! I must get myself to JL as well, I have vouchers to spend, although they are wedding vouchers and I'm not sure how happy the hubby will be if I spend them all on fabric! x

  14. Lovely picture of your brother and Noah! Congrats on your restrained shopping, although JL is usually expensive for fabric and I can normally be restrained in there!
